Poem / Short story

Blessed by Saints Broken with Stone (a poem)

Glass Carefully Stained
A calculated method
and recipe of fame
To protect the houses of priests
And their depiction of noble beasts
And worshiped mortal saints
immortalized in stains of paints

So fragile it should be
Not a blashphemy
If one foul child thrown stone
Sent askew at Heaven’s collective moans
Were to break apart
Immortalizing art

So please don’t sue me
